All members will hold the rank of Joint Secretary or higher. Additionally, representatives from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police and the Fire Service and Civil Defense Department will be included.

A representative from the Ministry of Housing and Public Works will act as the member secretary of the committee. The order further states that the committee is empowered to include additional members if deemed necessary.

Key Responsibilities of the Committee:

1. Determine the Source and Cause: Investigate the origin and reasons behind the fire.

2. Accountability: Identify whether any individuals bear personal or professional responsibility for the incident.

3. Preventative Recommendations: Formulate strategies to prevent similar incidents in the future.
