It is official that 127 foreign observers will be attending the 12th National Assembly elections. Conversely, fifty-nine foreign media personnel are traveling to Bangladesh in order to obtain information regarding the election.

On January 3, the Election Commission (EC) released an announcement.

227 foreign observers and media representatives applied to watch the elections, according to EC sources. 186 individuals have been issued accreditation cards.

Election observation teams from the European Union and the US-based IRI-NDI will be present. Delegations from a number of organizations, including the Arab Parliament, the SADF, the British High Commission, and the Commonwealth, will also be present.

Countries such as Canada, Russia, Norway, Belgium, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Japan, Australia, Nigeria, Nepal, and so on will send observers. There will be delegates from different nations, both private and government.

According to election officials, the government will cover all costs associated with the international observers who accept the Election Commission's offer, including transportation and lodging. Conversely, individuals who are attending on their own will be responsible for covering their own costs.
