Dhaka, Feb 2 (V7N) – A vibrant cultural program was held on Saturday at the Autism Welfare Foundation's (AWF) permanent campus in Madhderchar, Shyamlapur, Keraniganj, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
The program featured solo musical performances, group songs and recitals, group dance, drama skits and fashion parade.
Presiding over the event as chief guest was the Managing Director and CEO of Runner Auto Mobiles PLC Mohammad Nazrul Islam, FCA.
Legendary classical dancer and Director of Nrityanchal Dance Company Shibli Mohammad attended as the special guest.
In addition, many prominent cultural dignitaries, professionals from various walks of life, media personalities, and successful individuals from different fields of society enjoyed the performances of students at the event.
The event was presided over by Founder Chairperson and Chief Adviser of Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF) Dr Rownak Hafiz and Chairperson of AWF Professor Dr Sharmeen Yasmeen.
Directors of Runner Group of Companies, director panel of Confidence Group, along with various high-ranking government officials and representatives of various welfare organizations were present at the cultural program.
The program began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by fellow student Abdul Majed.
Md Ashrar Billah Khan Rakin, also a student of AWF, hosted the entire event.
The exceptional skills of these talented students were evident in every moment of their delightful performances.
The cultural program ended with the closing declaration by Professor Dr Sharmeen Yasmeen.
