Dhaka, Mar 22 (V7N)- The potential for building a new Bangladesh, created by the youth, must never be allowed to go astray again, said Adilur Rahman Khan, advisor to the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
He made these remarks during a discussion on the challenges, national interests, and roadmap for unity in the new Bangladesh following the mass uprising. The event took place at North South University in the capital on Saturday (March 22) morning.
Addressing the discussion, Adilur Rahman Khan stated that political parties will determine how much reform should be implemented before the elections and how much after. He emphasized that the country is at a critical juncture and that youth-led change must be safeguarded.
Speaking at the event, NCP Senior Joint Secretary Dr. Tasneem Zara raised the question of whether the Awami League should participate in the next election. She stressed the need for consensus on this issue and called for changes in Bangladesh's electoral system and political culture.
The discussion reflected growing debates on political reforms and electoral restructuring as Bangladesh navigates a post-uprising transition led by its youth movement.
