Dhaka, Apr 10 (V7N) – Education Advisor Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar has urged all concerned to refrain from spreading rumors about question paper leaks, emphasizing that such claims create unnecessary stress for students during examinations.

He made the remarks on Thursday morning after visiting the Motijheel Government Boys' High School examination center, where the first day of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations commenced.

Dr. Abrar stated,

“There has been no incident of question leakage so far. We are addressing this issue with utmost seriousness and have already shut down many of the sources from where leaks occurred in previous years. We are hopeful about our success this time.”

He reassured students and guardians that the examination is being conducted under strict surveillance and added that the entire examination process has been carefully planned to ensure a smooth and fair environment.

The Education Advisor further announced that the results of the SSC examinations will be published within two months, as part of the government’s commitment to maintaining academic timelines.

The SSC and equivalent examinations for 2025 began today with the Bangla First Paper exam, held from 10 AM to 1 PM. A total of 19,28,181 students from across the country are participating this year.

  • Participating schools: 18,084

  • Madrasa Education Board centers: 725

  • Madrasa institutions participating: 9,063

This year, examinations are being held based on the full syllabus, resuming normalcy after previous pandemic-induced adjustments.

Dr. Abrar concluded by reiterating the government’s commitment to conducting the entire examination cycle with transparency, fairness, and discipline.
