Rajshahi, July 13 (V7N) — Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, has stated that the government is working to normalize the situation following the popular uprising. He emphasized that immediate action is being taken to address ongoing incidents. According to him, improving law and order ahead of the elections is a necessity, and there will be no leniency in restoring peace before the elections at any cost.

He made these comments during a meeting with journalists and distinguished individuals from Rajshahi at the District Commissioner’s Conference Hall on Saturday afternoon.

He further stated, "In the wake of the recent murder in Dhaka, the police have acted swiftly. Four individuals have been arrested, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the incident."
