Dhaka, Aug 13 (V7N) – Information Ministry Secretary Mahbuba Farzana has announced that an information cell will be formed ahead of the upcoming elections to ensure accurate dissemination of information.

She made the remarks during a discussion with public relations officers (PROs) from various ministries at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Secretary Farzana emphasized the vital role of PROs in holding meaningful elections, urging them to work with creativity, professionalism, and a responsible approach.

In addition, she highlighted the challenges posed by the rapid spread of misinformation and rumors through digital media in the era of artificial intelligence. “Work must be done to prevent misinformation and ensure that the public receives accurate information,” she said.
