Obaidul Quader, the general secretary of the Awami League, has won a landslide reelection to the Noakhali-5 seat for a fifth time.

With the Plough sign, Obaidul Quader received 181,279 votes, while his closest competitor received just 9,702 votes.
On Sunday night, Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Dewan Mahbubur Rahman annotated him as the unofficial winner.
