Dhaka, Aug 29 (V7N) – Senior District and Sessions Judge Md. Liaquat Ali Mollah has been appointed as Secretary of the Law and Justice Division under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

The appointment was confirmed through an office order signed by Deputy Secretary (Administration-2) Md. Azizul Haque on Thursday. The order stated that Liaquat Ali Mollah, who was serving as Additional Secretary of the Law and Justice Division, has been given the current charge of Secretary.

Before this appointment, he was working as the District and Sessions Judge of Manikganj.

Notably, on August 25, 25 officials including Sheikh Abu Taher, the former Secretary of the Law and Justice Division, were appointed as Additional Judges in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court.
