Dhaka, Sep 10 (V7N) – Today marks the final day for initial registration for Hajj 2026 for Bangladeshis, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ministry emphasized that the deadline set by the Saudi government, October 12, will not be extended.

A press release issued on Wednesday by Md. Abubakar Siddique, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, stated that a total of 127,198 pilgrims from Bangladesh, including government and private sector nominees, will have the opportunity to perform Hajj next year.

The holy pilgrimage is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia during the last week of May 2026, depending on the sighting of the moon.
