Dhaka, Sep 16 (V7N) – Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has urged all concerned to remain vigilant during the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations to prevent any attempts at conspiracy or unrest.

He made the call on Monday afternoon while meeting with leaders of various Puja Celebration Councils at the State Guest House Jamuna.

“No opportunity should be created for any kind of conspiracy surrounding Durga Puja,” Yunus said, stressing the need for collective vigilance. He also inquired about the preparations and overall arrangements for the festival.

Leaders of the Hindu community informed the Chief Advisor that the number of Puja Mandaps has increased by over 1,000 compared to last year. They reported that preparations are progressing in full swing across the country, with strong cooperation from different government departments.

The community leaders also extended an invitation to Professor Yunus to visit Puja Mandaps during the celebrations. They expressed gratitude to the Advisor and the Ministry of Religion for their continued support and voiced optimism that, as in previous years, this year’s Puja will be observed peacefully and smoothly.
