Dhaka, Sep 30 (V7N) – The Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) has announced three packages for next year’s Hajj under private management, with prices adjusted upward compared to this year.

The announcement was made by HAAB Secretary General Farid Ahmed Majumdar at a press conference in Bijoynagar, Dhaka, on Tuesday morning.

According to the new rates, the special Hajj package has been raised by Tk 51,000 to Tk 750,000. The general Hajj package has increased by Tk 27,000 to Tk 550,000, while the affordable Hajj package has been set at Tk 511,000. Each package includes expenses such as food and the cost of animal sacrifice.

Majumdar noted that, unlike the government packages where food costs remain separate, the private packages cover food costs, including upgraded meal services, within the announced prices.
