Dhaka, Oct 05 (V7N) – The Consensus Commission will submit its final report to the interim government very soon, said Vice-Chairman Dr. Ali Riaz. He made the statement following a meeting with the Commission President and Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Sunday (October 5) morning.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the positions of political parties and the Commission’s stance on the content and implementation method of the July Charter. It was reported that the Chief Advisor expressed satisfaction with the Commission’s progress so far.
Dr. Ali Riaz noted that the Commission has received broad cooperation from all political parties, while the media has extended significant support throughout the process. He added that the Chief Advisor instructed the Commission to report on the final stage of its work as soon as possible.
In addition to Dr. Riaz, the meeting was attended by Commission members Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, Dr. Md. Ayub Mia, and Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Monir Haider.
Advisors Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan, Asif Nazrul, and Adilur Rahman Khan were also present.
