Dhaka, Dec 23 (V7N)- The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved 22 development projects involving a total cost of Tk 46,419 crore.

The approval came at an ECNEC meeting held on Tuesday (December 23) under the chairmanship of Chief Adviser and ECNEC Chairperson Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Planning after the meeting, the total approved project cost stands at Tk 46,419 crore 66 lakh.

Of the total amount, Tk 30,482 crore 49 lakh will come from government funding, Tk 1,689 crore 61 lakh from project loans, and Tk 14,247 crore 56 lakh from the own funds of the implementing organizations.

The ministry noted that this was the seventh ECNEC meeting of the current fiscal year 2025–26 and the 18th ECNEC meeting held under the interim government.
