Dhaka, Feb 08 (V7N)- In view of the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election and referendum, the Bangladesh Bank has set a maximum daily transaction limit of Tk 10,000 for Mobile Financial Services (MFS).

According to central bank sources, the new limit will take effect from Sunday night (February 8) and will remain in force until midnight on February 12.

The central bank stated that this step has been taken to ensure financial security during the election period.

Mobile banking operators have been instructed to adhere strictly to the transaction limit during this period.
