The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk3.34 per kg. The new price stands at Tk120.18 per kg, down from the previous rate of Tk123.52 per kg.
Effective from 6 pm on Wednesday, this adjustment is expected to lower household and commercial expenses associated with LPG usage.
As a result of this revision, the cost of a standard 12kg LPG cylinder will decrease to Tk1,442, marking a reduction of Tk40 compared to its previous price of Tk1,482.
