A severe heatwave persists over several districts including Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jessore, Chuadanga, and Kushtia, with temperatures likely to rise further. Additionally, mild to moderate heatwaves are affecting Dhaka, Rangpur, and Barisal divisions, as well as parts of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, and districts like Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, and Rangamati.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts rain or thunder showers with temporary gusty or squally winds at isolated places in Sylhet division, accompanied by hails in some areas. However, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry elsewhere in the country, with a temporary partly cloudy sky.

Daytime temperatures may increase slightly, while nighttime temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable. However, discomfort may persist due to increased moisture incursion.

On Tuesday, the highest temperature recorded was 40.06°C in Khulna, Jessore, and Chuadanga, while the lowest temperature was 21.04°C in Tetulia and Dimla.
