Anisul Haq, the minister of law, justice, and parliamentary affairs, declared on Wednesday that the updated labor act will be passed during the upcoming legislative session.

"It will undoubtedly be discussed and approved during the upcoming session," he stated in response to a query from reporters regarding the likelihood of the modified act being passed.

He was speaking with media at the secretariat following a meeting with Labour Ministry officials.

"In March, the ILO Governing Board will convene. The purpose of today's discussion was to provide an update on the labor laws and the advancements being made, according to the minister.

Additionally, he stated that the Prime Minister now oversees this ministry. This demonstrates the seriousness with which she has approached the ministry. He said, "I'll brief the Prime Minister on this first, and then I'll tell you the specifics."

"We have discussed this today as well," the Law Minister stated in response to a question about reducing the amount of requirements needed to form trade unions to 10%. We are acting by a ruling. I've changed by PM's previous instructions, and I'll let PM know about it right away.
