After the Fajr prayer on the bank of Turag in Tongi, Maulana Ahmad Butler of Pakistan gave the opening comments to begin the first phase of Biswa Ijtema 2024 on Friday, February 2.

According to Md Habibullah Raihan, the media coordinator for Ijtema, Maulana Zubair will conduct Friday prayers following the Talim by Maulana Ziaul Haque.

He indicated that following Friday prayers, a maulana from Jordan will talk, and following Asr prayers, Hafez Maulana Zubair from Bangladesh.


"After Maghrib, Maulana Ahmad Lat of India will speak," he declared.

Participants in Biswa Ijtema had flocked to the Tongi area, disregarding the cold and rain.

In addition, the Ijtema's first phase will take place from February 2 to February 4 and its second phase from February 9 to February 11.

For the Biswa Ijtema, the metropolitan police in Gazipur and Dhaka issued specific guidelines about parking and traffic flow to enable the flow of a huge number of people during the event.

DMP has instructed that during the Ijtema, no cars are allowed to be parked on either side of the route from Khilkhet through Abdullahpur to Dhaur Bridge.

Locations in Dhaka where visitors to Ijtema can leave their cars:

1) Dhaka and Chattogram divisions: slope of bridge number five, Kadmatoli Market under Sector 15, Sector 17 Uludah Ground

2) Divisions of Sylhet and Khulna: Uttara Sector 15 Lakeside land

3) Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Mymensingh divisions: Boubazar ground, inside Sector 16, and west of Uttara bridges 10 and 11.

4) The BIWTA Landing Station in Barishal Division is located next to the Dhaur Bridge crossing.

5) Dhaka Metropolis: Swadesh Property's vacant land on a 300-foot road area
