Chief Adviser of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, emphasized the importance of unity and patience in addressing the nation's crises during a visit to Dhakeshwari Temple on August 13. Addressing the Hindu community, Dr. Yunus stressed that everyone in Bangladesh should unite as one family, without discrimination or conflict. He urged the nation to avoid dividing people by religion or ethnicity and to ensure that everyone is governed by a single law and constitution.

Dr. Yunus highlighted the importance of asserting democratic rights and demanded that all governments uphold these rights for every citizen, without categorizing people as minorities or by other divisive terms.
