Dhaka, Sep 22 (V7N) – The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 734 cases and imposed fines totaling approximately Tk 31 lakh during operations targeting traffic rule violations on Saturday.

Assistant Commissioner (Media) Jahangir Kabir announced these figures in a media release on Sunday.

Out of the total fines, traffic police collected Tk 334,500 in cash. Additionally, 64 vehicles were confiscated, and 35 others were towed during the enforcement actions across various areas of the capital.
