Oct 02 (V7N)- American entrepreneur Elon Musk has officially become the first person in history to amass a net worth of half a trillion dollars (USD 500 billion), with his total wealth now estimated at $510.1 billion, according to the Forbes Billionaires Index.

Musk’s record-breaking valuation is largely driven by surging stock values of his own companies. Tesla shares, in particular, have risen roughly 20 percent so far this year, contributing significantly to his wealth accumulation. Meanwhile, the market valuations of SpaceX and his AI venture XAI have also played key roles in pushing Musk’s net worth past the $500 billion mark.

Following Musk on the billionaire rankings, Larry Ellison of Oracle holds second place with a net worth of $350.7 billion. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, ranks third with $245.8 billion.
