Dhaka, Mar 13 (V7N) – The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on all processions, meetings, and gatherings in the area surrounding Jamuna, the official residence of the Bangladesh Secretariat and the Chief Advisor. This decision was announced in a public notice signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali on Thursday.
According to the notice, which cites the DMP Ordinance Section 29, the ban will be in effect from today, March 13, and will remain in place until further orders are issued. The areas affected by this ban include key locations such as Hotel Intercontinental Intersection, Shahbagh Intersection, Kakrail Intersection, and Mintu Road.
The notice prohibits any mass gatherings, processions, or public meetings in these areas to ensure security and order.
