Dhaka, June 11 (V7N) — After celebrating the holy Eid-ul-Azha with their families, many working people have begun returning to the capital city. However, a significant number are still leaving Dhaka to spend the remaining government holidays elsewhere.
Trains have been departing from Kamalapur Railway Station at regular intervals since Wednesday morning (June 11). Passenger flow on both outward and return routes has been nearly balanced. With three days of government holidays remaining, many are choosing to leave Dhaka to make the most of their time.
A large number of people who had come to Dhaka for Eid festivities are now heading back to their workplaces. Passengers expressed relief at the smoother travel conditions after the holiday and said they are returning home after Eid with a sense of comfort.
