Anticipating the upcoming COP29 conference in Baku, Minister Chowdhury supported the idea of distributing more funds fairly to enhance adaptation efforts and tackle the impacts of climate-related losses and damages. He stressed the importance of ensuring that all actions are by scientific research and the pressing necessity of restricting temperature increase to 1.5°C.
