The weather office has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of strong winds reaching speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour in 13 districts across the country, including the capital city of Dhaka. Additionally, the forecast suggests the possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
Meteorologist Md. Monowar Hossain, in a statement, highlighted that temporary gusts or squalls ranging from 45 to 60 kilometres per hour may originate from the north or north-west in districts such as Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Noakhali, Cumilla, and Sylhet.

The statement also warned of potential rain or thunderstorms during this period, prompting the issuance of warning signal number 1 for river ports in these areas.

Furthermore, another statement from the weather office suggests the possibility of temporary gusts of wind along with rain or thunderstorms in select areas of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Khulna divisions until evening. However, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry with partly cloudy skies in other parts of the country.
