The lowest temperature of the year was recorded in Dinajpur today. According to the District Meteorological Department, the district's lowest temperature was 5.3 degrees Celsius on Sunday, January 28 at 9 a.m. Different parts of the district experience severe winter weather because of the dense fog and chilly wind.

At six in the morning today, the Dinajpur and Panchagarh districts recorded the lowest temperature of 5.5 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Dinajpur dropped by 2 degrees Celsius in 4 hours.

In Dinajpur, the lowest temperature recorded last Saturday was 8.3 degrees Celsius. In other words, in a single day, the temperature dropped by three degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Office states that when the minimum temperature falls between 10 and 8 degrees Celsius, mild cold currents are prevalent in the area. It is sometimes referred to as a moderate cold current if the minimum temperature is between 8 and 6 degrees Celsius.

The district is experiencing a strong cold current, according to the Meteorological Office. Dinajpur is experiencing a rise in temperature as compared to the past few days. The Konkan winter is now more severe as a result of this.

Meanwhile, a heavy fog blankets the district, despite the fact that the day is growing longer. Workers and those with modest incomes are suffering more and more as the temperature drops and the severity of winter grows. As a result, there are far less people at significant crossroads and on major roadways. Public life has devolved into public sorrow in Konkan winter.
