Ukhiya, July 13 (V7N) — A murder case has been filed in the Kamal Hossain murder case in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. The complaint was lodged by the victim's younger brother, Sahab Uddin, on Thursday night, naming 14 individuals as accused.
 
The case mentions the names of 8 individuals, while 6 others have been listed as unknown accused. All the named individuals were already suspects in the 2019 murder case of Jasim Uddin, Kamal Hossain's other brother, who was also killed on July 27, 2019.
 
The Ukhiya Police Station confirmed the registration of the case. Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Arif Hossain stated that the police have launched a search operation to arrest the accused individuals.
 
The named suspects in the case include: Abdur Rahim, Tofail Ahmed, Juhur Ahmed Chowdhury, Shariful Haque Sagar, Zahir Ahmed, Nurul Bashar, Mohammad Ridwan, and Shariful Haque Nahid. All of these individuals are residents of the Monkhali area of Jaliapalong Union, Ukhiya.
 
Following the incident, the accused have reportedly gone into hiding in the local area.
