Bangladesh Coast Guard operation in St. Martin recovers large quantities of marine corals and oysters.
Based on Goast guard intelligence, a special operation was conducted by BCG Station St. Martin in the Chera Island area following information received that some marine corals and oysters would be smuggled from St. Martin's Chera Island to Cox's Bazar Bangladesh. 
 
On Sunday, April 14, 30 sacks were hidden to be smuggled to Cox's Bazar from Chera Island in St. Martin, Teknaf.
 
Later, the Coast Guard managed to recover 30 bags of corals and oysters.
The seized marine corals and oysters were handed over to St. Martin Environment Department Supervisor (Representative) Md. Abdul Aziz for appropriate legal action.
