Kolapara, July 9 (V7N)- 'Hotel Sun Marina' is located at the Kuakata tourist center. Its construction has not yet begun. However, Syed Abed Ali has sparked discussions on social media by posting a status about this hotel. He is known to be accused of leaking questions for 30 recruitment exams, including the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam, and was a former driver of the PSC chairman.

On May 18, Abed Ali wrote about the hotel on his Facebook page: "Today we laid the foundation stone for our new hotel. You can also purchase shares to secure a lifetime stay at the seaside and own a hotel. Contact us to buy shares."

According to local sources, the Sun Marina Hotel has not yet been constructed. The site is still vacant, with 6-7 labor sheds in the front. Additionally, a signboard with a design of the hotel is hung at the front of the designated area. In 2010, the original owner of the hotel, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, purchased 40 decimals of land in Panjupara, Ward 7 of Kuakata Municipality, to build a residential hotel.

The hotel's site manager, Md. Faruk Hossain, stated that he has been working as a manager for the past 8 years. He recognizes Mosharraf Hossain as the sole owner of the hotel. Regarding Abed Ali, he said that after Eid-ul-Fitr, Abed Ali visited Kuakata and stayed in another hotel. He spoke with Faruk after seeing the signboard for selling shares of their hotel and was referred to the head office for further details.

Hotel owner Mosharraf Hossain said that two or three months ago, Syed Abed Ali stayed at another hotel in front of his hotel. The next morning, Abed Ali visited the site of Mosharraf’s hotel and expressed interest in buying shares. He gathered detailed information from Mosharraf’s personnel, and that was the extent of their interaction. Mosharraf mentioned that he never met Abed Ali and doesn’t know him.

He added that Abed Ali seemed like a fraudulent person. Mosharraf has filed a General Diary (GD) with Gulshan Police Station in Dhaka regarding this matter.
