PABNA, Oct 11, V7N- Kumari Puja was celebrated at Ramkrishna Sevasram in Pabna as part of the Sharadiya Durgotsava, where Goddess Durga is worshipped in the form of a young virgin girl, symbolizing purity and divine femininity. The ritual, rooted in the belief of "Paramartha Darshan and Paramartha Arjan" in women, took place on Friday at 2:30 pm.

Six-year-old Shreya Talapatra, also known by her classical name Uma, was honored as the Kumari Devi for the second time in this sacred ceremony. She was bathed, dressed in a new red saree, and adorned with jewelry, anklets, flower garlands, and ornaments. Worshippers, holding lotus flowers, offered prayers and chants in her honor, drawing a large crowd eager to witness the spiritual event.
