Rajshahi, Dec 21, (V7N) - In the Belpukur area of Rajshahi city, winter clothes were distributed to the underprivileged people by the Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP).
 
On December 21, 2024, at around 11:15 AM, a winter clothes distribution event was organized at the Jamira High School ground in Belpukur, under the initiative of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP). The Commissioner of RMP, Mohammad Abu Sufian, attended the event as the chief guest and distributed winter clothes to the needy.
 
During the event, the Police Commissioner stated, “Along with ensuring a safe city, the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police regularly engages in humanitarian work. As part of this effort, today we are distributing blankets to those in need. We are always here for you. Also present at the event were Mohammad Mominul Karim, Deputy Police Commissioner (Matihaar Crime Division), Mohammad Zahidul Islam, Deputy Police Commissioner (Prosecution), PPM, Mohammad Nasir Uddin Zubayer, Deputy Police Commissioner (CTTC), Md. Madhusudan Roy, Deputy Police Commissioner (E & D), along with senior officers of RMP, journalists, and local leaders.
 
In addition to maintaining law and order, today’s distribution of winter clothes is part of our ongoing social and humanitarian work. This effort will continue in the future."
