Khagrachhari, Mar 16 (V7N)– A new auditorium at the Khagrachhari Notun Kuri Cantonment High School, funded by the Khagrachhari Hill District Council, has been officially inaugurated. The project, costing 4 million taka (40 lakh taka), aims to enhance the school's facilities and support student activities.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Sunday morning, March 16, 2025, and was led by Brigadier General Sharif Md. Aman Hasan, SPP, NDC, PSC, the Khagrachhari Army Region Commander and President of the School Board of Directors.

Key attendees included Khagrachhari Hill District Council Chairman Jiruna Tripura, Khagrachhari Sadar Zone Army Commander Lieutenant Colonel Khademul Islam, Hill District Council Chief Executive Officer Sumon Chowdhury, Region G2I Major Kazi Mostafa Arefin, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rumana Akhter, and school headmaster Rushdina Akhter Jahan.

Also present were Executive Engineer of the Hill District Council Prati Pad Dewan, Council members Professor Abdul Latif, Nitol Moni Chakma, Animoy Chakma, Advocate Manjila Sultana Jhuma, Md. Mahbubul Alam, and other local dignitaries.

During the ceremony, Brigadier General Sharif Md. Aman Hasan emphasized the importance of the new auditorium in facilitating co-curricular activities for students. He expressed optimism that the facility would contribute to the development of culture and creativity alongside the provision of quality education.
