Rangamati, Apr 20 (V7N)- America Tanchangya (73), a former Union Parishad (UP) member, has gone missing while traveling from Rangamati to Cox's Bazar to visit relatives. Tanchangya's residence is in the Chingkhyang Noa Para Zero Point area of Rajasthali Upazila in Rangamati district.

He reportedly departed for Cox's Bazar at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday (April 19th) and was last seen around 2:00 p.m. after reaching the Kala Toli area.

Suradhan Tanchangya, the headmaster of Chingkhyang Noa Para Government Primary School and the eldest son of the family, confirmed his father's disappearance in Kalatoli, Cox's Bazar, during a trip with relatives.

According to those who were accompanying him, America Tanchangya disappeared from the Kalatali Beach area shortly after exiting their vehicle. Despite an extensive search by his relatives, they were unable to locate him.
