Khagrachhari, Sept 2 (V7N) – The 138th Talnabami Tithi Mahotsav of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra was celebrated with solemn devotion and religious enthusiasm on Monday, September 1, at the Satsang Ashram in Khagrachhari. The event was organized by the Khagrachhari District Satsang Celebration Committee, commemorating the auspicious birth tithi of the revered spiritual leader and founder of the Satsang movement.
 
The day-long celebration began in the early hours with Mangalik Nahabat (auspicious musical invocation) during the Brahma Muhurta, followed by Usha Kirtan (devotional songs at dawn), morning prayers, collective chanting of the holy name (Namjap), recitation from sacred texts including the Amiya Granthas, and the Bhagavad Gita. A Dharma Sabha (spiritual discourse) was held where speakers elaborated on the life, teachings, and universal message of Thakur Anukulchandra, emphasizing the relevance of his ideals in today’s world.
 
The celebrations included devotional performances, group prayers, and kirtans depicting the divine life and lilas (divine pastimes) of Sri Sri Thakur. At midday, Mahaprasad (consecrated food) was distributed among the devotees. Additional events included a recitation competition of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, a devotional music concert, prize distribution among participants, and an evening prayer session marked by Namjap and readings from the Amiya Granthas.
 
A large number of devotees from different parts of the district and beyond participated in the festival, creating a spiritually charged and harmonious atmosphere throughout the day. One of the highlights of the program was the devotional musical performance by renowned local Bhairav Team led by Bijoy Dev, which deeply moved the audience with renditions of traditional satsang music.
 
The 138th Talnabami Mahotsav served not only as a religious gathering but also as a reaffirmation of the values of love, service, and truth taught by Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra. Organizers expressed gratitude for the peaceful and devotional environment that prevailed during the festival and hoped for continued engagement in such spiritual and social welfare activities in the future.
