Khagrachhari, Sept 19 – In the heart of the hills, a unique initiative called Dream Bilash Flower Village has been established to spread the beauty of flowers among local communities and visitors. The village, filled with vibrant colors of diverse floral species, has quickly become a popular destination for flower lovers.
 
Visitors can not only enjoy the scenic beauty of countless flowers but also take a break to have tea, coffee, and meals while exploring the site. The nursery also offers a wide variety of local and foreign flower and fruit saplings for purchase.
 
Agro-tourism has already gained attention and positive response, while the initiative has also created employment opportunities for 10 to 12 workers. Remarkably, the area once housed an environment-damaging brick kiln, but today it has been transformed into a lush garden of colorful flowers and fruits, attracting tourists from near and far.
 
Located in Murapara of Mahalchhari Upazila under Khagrachhari district, the nursery provides a striking view reminiscent of a floral paradise. Entry to the garden costs only 30 taka, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in its natural beauty. The management has prioritized local culture and traditions to offer tourists a wholesome experience.
 
The founders aim not only to spread the beauty of flowers but also to contribute to the regional economy by turning Khagrachhari into a flower-based hub. As a district with immense tourism potential, Khagrachhari already attracts visitors with its scenic sites, and initiatives like Dream Bilash Flower Village are opening new doors for eco-tourism development.
