To escape from the intense heat, the Muslims prayed for rain in Khulna.  On Saturday (April 27) at 5:30 am, Imam Parishad organized this special prayer at Khalishpur Eidgah Maidan in Khulna.  Worshipers from all walks of life participate in the prayers.  After the prayer, a special prayer is offered for rain.  Imam Mufti Mejbah Uddin of Khalishpur Baitul Akram Jame Masjid led the prayer and prayers.

Thousands of worshipers including Khulna-3 Constituency Member of Parliament SM Kamal Hossain were present in the prayer.

The worshipers who participated in the prayers said that in Khulna it is very hot in this heat as well as animals are uncomfortable.  I performed Istiska prayer to save myself from this intense heat.  I asked God for forgiveness, I cried.  God will accept our prayers inshallah.
