St. Martin June 13,(V7N)- The service has been cut off since last week when a boat from the island came under firing on the Naf River near the Naikhongdia point in Teknaf Cox's Bazar Bangladesh, disrupting emergency travels and goods transportation.
 
Saint Martin Island's stalled transport system is back in operation on Thursday (June 13). Cargo trawlers will go to the island via the Bay of Bengal via an alternative route. Passengers will come and go through Shahpori dwip through the new channel. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Coast Guard will provide security to the passengers.
Cox's Bazar district administration confirmed the matter.
