Dhaka, Feb 19 (V7N)—The 2025 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations and their equivalents will begin on April 10, with the theoretical exams concluding on May 13.
The practical exams will start on May 15 and run until May 22, according to a revised schedule published on Wednesday, along with some key instructions.

Candidates must collect their admission cards from their respective institution heads at least three days before the exam begins.

They must ensure that they correctly fill in their roll number, registration number, subject code, etc, on their OMR sheets, ensuring the circles are properly filled.

The answer sheets must not be folded.

Candidates must pass separately in the creative/written (theoretical), multiple-choice, and practical exams.

They are permitted to sit for exams only in the subjects listed on their registration forms and cannot participate in exams for other subjects.

Marks for Physical Education, Health Science, Sports and Career Education will be based on continuous assessment and the concerned centres will submit the marks online to the Board’s website.

No exams will be held at the candidate’s school or institution; seating arrangements will be made through centre transfer.

While a general scientific calculator may be used during the exams, no other electronic device -- smart watch, smartphone, etc -- can be carried.

Only the centre secretary is allowed to bring and use a mobile phone at the exam centre; other individuals or candidates are prohibited from using mobile phones.

The same attendance sheet will be used for the creative/written (theoretical), multiple-choice and practical exams.

The practical exams will be conducted at the respective centres/venues.

Candidates can apply for re-evaluation of their results within seven days through an online SMS request.
