Dhaka, Mar 31 (V7N)- A colorful Eid procession was organized at Dhaka University (DU) to share the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr among students, teachers, and staff. The vice-chancellor, deputy vice-chancellor, proctor, faculty members, students, and university staff participated in the event, which added a festive atmosphere to the campus.

The procession was held on Monday (March 31), following the first Eid congregation at Dhaka University’s central mosque. It moved through TSC (Teacher-Student Centre) and concluded in front of Kala Bhavan. Meanwhile, teachers and staff from Jagannath Hall organized a separate Eid procession.

Leaders of various student organizations also took part in the celebration, marching alongside university officials and students.

Before the start of the procession, DU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan expressed his joy, stating that people are celebrating Eid in a fearless and peaceful environment. He also emphasized that from now on, the university administration would actively support and facilitate religious and spiritual events to foster harmony on campus.
