Dhaka, June 29 (V7N) — To reduce traffic congestion and inconvenience near examination centers, the Dhaka Education Board has announced that candidates appearing for this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be allowed to enter exam centers one and a half hours before the start of their exams. This information was disclosed by Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Haider, the Controller of Examinations, through an official notice issued on Saturday.
The notice stated that in an effort to alleviate the ongoing traffic jams and public difficulties around the examination venues in 2025, exam centers are requested to facilitate the entry of candidates starting from 8:30 a.m. However, all previous instructions regarding the entry to examination halls remain unchanged. Center-in-charges have been specially urged to implement this arrangement promptly to ensure a smooth process.
For proper coordination and enforcement, copies of the notice have been sent to the Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, all Deputy Commissioners and Upazila Executive Officers under the Dhaka Education Board’s jurisdiction, along with other relevant authorities.
This early entry measure aims to help candidates avoid last-minute rushes and travel delays, ensuring they can take their seats calmly and start their exams on time.
