Dhaka, October 13 (V7N) — The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on October 16, according to a notification issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Monday (October 13).

The announcement stated that at 10:00 a.m. on October 16, the results of the 2025 HSC and equivalent examinations under the boards of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, as well as the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board, will be officially released.

Students and institutions will be able to access the results through multiple platforms, including the websites of the respective education boards and via SMS. The results will also be available at examination centers and educational institutions across the country.

Institutions can download their results by entering their EIIN number in the Result Corner of the official website: www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. They can also retrieve their result sheets through the websites of their respective education boards using their EIIN. Students may obtain individual results by sending an SMS to 16222 following the format specified by the boards.

The committee clarified that results will not be available at the education boards, the Ministry of Education, or newspaper offices.

Applications for re-examination will be accepted from October 17 to October 23 through the official portal: https://rescrutinu.eduboardresult.gov.bd. Detailed instructions regarding the re-evaluation process will be announced on the education boards’ websites and in newspapers.

This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations began on June 26 and concluded on August 19, though some subjects were rescheduled, extending the exam period slightly. As per regulations, results must be published within 60 days of the completion of written exams.

A total of 1,251,111 students under 11 education boards registered for the 2025 examinations. Among them, 618,150 were male and 633,096 were female students. The exams were conducted at 2,797 centers nationwide.
