Dhaka, Nov 16 (V7N) – The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination re-examinations have been published. Students can access their results via SMS or through the official websites starting from 10 am on Sunday (November 16).

According to a notification issued by the education boards on Thursday (November 13), the results are available on the Dhaka Education Board website as well as on the websites of other education boards. Students can also check their results at http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd/.

This year, a record number of students applied for re-examinations. A total of 226,000 students from 11 education boards submitted applications for 428,000 subjects, with the highest number from the Dhaka Education Board and the lowest from the Barisal Board.

Earlier, 12,51,111 students from 9,197 institutions participated in the HSC and equivalent examinations this year. Among them, 726,960 students passed, yielding a pass rate of 58.83 percent, while 508,701 students failed (41.17 percent). The pass rate for female students was 62.97 percent, compared to 54.60 percent for male students.

Students are advised to check their results promptly and report any discrepancies to their respective education boards.
