In a remarkable achievement, Dhaka University has secured the top spot among Bangladeshi universities in the QS World University Rankings 2025, ranking 554th globally. Published on June 4th, the rankings also see Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) at 761-770 and North South University (NSU) at 901-950.
This year marks a significant rise for these institutions, with DU jumping from 691-700, BUET from 801-850, and NSU from 851-900.
Globally, MIT continues to lead, followed by Imperial College London, University of Oxford, Harvard University, and University of Cambridge.
