Hollywood, Aug 29 (V7N) — In a special Halloween-season tribute, all five films of the “Twilight” saga will be re-released in select U.S. theaters for five consecutive days beginning October 29, 2025. The announcement was made Thursday by Lionsgate, in partnership with Fathom Events and Fandango.
The films — based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novels — will be shown in order, one per day, leading up to Halloween. Each screening will feature not only the remastered version of the original movie, but also exclusive new interviews with author Stephenie Meyer and the film’s producers, who will share behind-the-scenes stories and previously unrevealed insights from the making of the franchise.
The return of the saga was announced through a collaborative Instagram post by the official “Twilight” account along with Lionsgate, Fathom Events, and Fandango. The post included a dramatic video montage showcasing some of the most iconic and emotional moments from the five-film series, which originally ran from 2008 to 2012.
The rerelease comes amid a wave of nostalgia for early-2000s pop culture and marks a rare opportunity for fans to experience the vampire romance saga again on the big screen. The Twilight franchise, starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, grossed more than $3.3 billion worldwide and became a defining cultural phenomenon of its era.
Tickets and participating theater information will be made available via Fandango and Fathom Events in the coming weeks.
