At Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), the Japan Foundation and the Japanese Embassy in Bangladesh will present an exhibition of Japanese dolls named "NINGYO- Art and Beauty of Japanese Dolls."

According to a press statement issued on Sunday, "NINGYO" translates to "dolls" in Japanese.

Visitors can still attend the event till February 16.

The exhibition's topics are broken down into four sections: "Ningyo as fine art," "Ningyo as folk art," "Ningyo to pray for children's growth," and "Spread of Ningyo culture."

According to the statement, the exhibition will aid in the exploration of the Japanese doll and its culture, which is nourished in Japanese history and mythology.
