Dhaka, Apr 14 (V7N)— The Bengali New Year 1432 was welcomed in a mesmerizing musical atmosphere as students and artists of Surer Dhara, a leading music education institution, sang in unison at Rabindra Sarovar, Dhanmondi, from 6 am to 9 am.
The event, titled ‘Surer Dhara Channel i Hajar Kanthe Barshavaran’, has been a yearly tradition since 2012. With about 350 artists performing, the collective harmony symbolized hope and renewal, washing away the fatigue of the old year with songs of celebration, peace, and unity.

Artists from various ethnic groups, including 12 from Rangamati, added to the diversity and spirit of the occasion, making it a truly inclusive celebration.
The event was organized by Surer Dhara with support from the Ministry of Culture, and broadcast in partnership with Channel i, continuing its legacy as one of the most beloved New Year programs in the country.
