Dhaka, July 1 (V7N) — The preliminary examination for the 48th Special Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held on July 18. The exam will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, according to a press release signed by Masuma Afreen, Examination Controller of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

Details regarding the exam centers, seating arrangements, and other essential instructions will be published soon on the official websites of the PSC (www.bpsc.gov.bd) and Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd (http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd).

Earlier, the 48th Special BCS circular was published on May 27, with online applications open from June 1 to June 25. The preliminary (MCQ) exam results are expected to be released on July 21. A rapid oral examination will follow, with final results scheduled for September 22.

The special BCS aims to recruit 3,000 doctors, including 2,700 assistant surgeons and 300 assistant dental surgeons, to strengthen the country’s healthcare system.
