Dhaka, Dec 13 (V7N)- Inqilab Manch organized a protest rally at Shahbagh in the capital on Saturday afternoon, protesting the shooting of Sharif Osman bin Hadi. Leaders and activists from various political and social organizations participated in the demonstration.

During the rally, leaders of Inqilab Manch issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the interim government to arrest those responsible for attacking Osman Hadi during a public gathering. They alleged that the law and order situation in the country has deteriorated since the coup, claiming that top terrorists were released from prison and some were allowed to return from abroad, creating widespread insecurity.

The protesters said the interim government cannot evade responsibility for the assassination attempt on Sharif Osman bin Hadi, which took place in broad daylight, citing the government's failure to ensure public safety and uphold the rule of law.

They further demanded an impartial investigation into the incident, identification of all individuals and groups involved, and their swift arrest and prosecution to ensure justice.
