Plots and conspiracies never stop. Thus, we will need to confront the conspiracies head-on," she said.

At her constituency (Gopalganj-3) on Kotalipara Upazila premises, the premier was greeting and exchanging ideas with leaders and activists of Kotalipara AL and affiliated groups following the election.

In the future, she remarked, there would be a lot of work to do. The Awami League government has changed the destiny of the Bangladeshi people and turned the nation into Digital Bangladesh. "We need to ensure that this progress is sustainable and continue it," she added.

Hasina claimed she could combat any kind of plot anyplace since she had a stronghold, referring to her Gopalganj-3 constituency (Tungipara-Kotalipara) as her stronghold.

She claimed that the Bangladeshi people are the source of her power and that it was this power that allowed her to defeat the conspiracies. "Bangladesh's development trend will continue in the future," the PM said.

"Every village will have access to all urban amenities," she declared, adding that the villages would be constructed by her government as part of the "My Village My Town" initiative.

To stop such horrible acts from happening again in the future, the prime minister declared that the government will not back down from the harsh punishment of the arsonists and their organisers.

"We are and will continue to take action against them. To prevent anyone from carrying out such horrible deeds in the future, we are also detaining the individuals who issued the orders.

On the dais were Sheikh Salauddin Jewel, Sheikh Helal Uddin MP, and Sheikh Rehana, the younger sister of the prime minister. The event was presided over by Kotalipara AL President Babu Bhabendranath Bishwas, and it was run by General Secretary Aynal Hossain Sheikh.

Speakers at the event included PM's political representative in her Gopalganj-3 seat, Shahidullah Khandaker, president of the Gopalganj Awami League, and AL advisory council member Akram Uddin Ahmed.

She travelled to Tungipara on Saturday and attended the Tungipara Awami League headquarters for a post-election gathering of leaders, activists, and affiliate groups to exchange greetings and opinions.

After spending the night at her own house in Tungipara, she joined the programme in Kotalipara on her way back to Dhaka.

The Awami League formed the government for the fourth time overall and the fifth times in a row after winning the 12th parliamentary election with a landslide victory.
